Swedish and American, born 1976.
Lisa Lind was born in Gothenburg, Sweden to an American mother and Swedish father, and subsequently raised in Pennsylvania. She is a bilingual dual citizen of the United States and Sweden.
Lisa’s interest in all things visual was fostered at a young age with enrollment in art majors from early education through college. After earning a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Lisa spent the following eighteen years in New York City, painting and working as a creative director in the design industry.
Lisa lives and works in her studio/residence in Woodbury, Connecticut, where she focuses on oil and gouache landscapes and still life painting, as well as a newly-found passion for woodcarving. Inspired by nature and a love of traveling, she can often be found exploring the outdoors along the coast of New England.
